AI-Assisted Brainstorming
Use stickies as a visual brainstorming canvas with AI suggestions
The Problem
Traditional brainstorming in a text document feels linear and constrained. You want a more visual, free-form way to capture and explore ideas with AI assistance.
The Workflow
Step 1: Start with a Central Theme
Create a sticky with your brainstorming topic.
Prompt to use:
Create a purple sticky: BRAINSTORM - New onboarding flow ideas
Example output:
Created purple sticky note:
"BRAINSTORM - New onboarding flow ideas"
Step 2: Generate Initial Ideas
Ask Claude to help generate ideas as stickies.
Prompt to use:
Help me brainstorm ideas for improving user onboarding.
Create a yellow sticky for each idea (give me 5 ideas).
Example output:
Created 5 yellow sticky notes:
1. "Interactive product tour with tooltips"
2. "Personalized setup wizard based on user role"
3. "Video walkthrough option for visual learners"
4. "Checklist-based progress tracker"
5. "AI chatbot for real-time onboarding help"
Step 3: Categorize and Prioritize
Use colors to organize ideas by theme or priority.
Prompt to use:
Create a pink sticky for the most impactful idea:
"PRIORITY: Personalized setup wizard - highest user impact"
Step 4: Expand on Best Ideas
Deep dive into promising concepts.
Prompt to use:
Create blue stickies expanding on the personalized setup wizard:
- What questions should we ask?
- What roles should we support?
- What customizations result from each answer?
Step 5: Capture Next Steps
Turn ideas into actionable items.
Prompt to use:
Create a green sticky with next steps:
- Research competitor onboarding flows
- Draft wizard question flow
- Schedule design review meeting
Expected Result
A visual collection of ideas that you can see at a glance, organized by color and ready to be developed further.
