Meeting Preparation with Stickies
Create visual reminders and talking points for upcoming meetings
The Problem
You have an important meeting coming up. You want key talking points visible on screen without cluttering your notes app or having to switch between windows.
The Workflow
Step 1: Create a Meeting Sticky
Set up a sticky with your meeting agenda.
Prompt to use:
Create a blue sticky for my 2pm meeting with the design team:
- Review new mockups
- Discuss timeline concerns
- Align on next sprint goals
Example output:
Created blue sticky note:
"Design Team Meeting (2pm)
• Review new mockups
• Discuss timeline concerns
• Align on next sprint goals"
Step 2: Add Key Questions
Create a separate sticky for questions you need answered.
Prompt to use:
Pink sticky for questions I need to ask:
- What's the status of the user research?
- Do we have budget approval?
- Who's handling the handoff to engineering?
Step 3: Prepare Talking Points
Create stickies for points you want to make.
Prompt to use:
Yellow sticky: Key point - We need at least 2 weeks for QA before launch
Step 4: Post-Meeting Capture
After the meeting, quickly capture action items.
Prompt to use:
Green sticky: Action items from design meeting:
- Send mockup feedback by Friday
- Schedule follow-up with engineering
- Update project timeline doc
Expected Result
Visual, always-on-screen reminders that help you stay focused during meetings and capture outcomes immediately after.
