Which AI tools are supported?

Macuse works with Claude Desktop, Cursor, Raycast, and any AI tool that supports the MCP protocol. One installation, all your AI tools connected.

Do I need technical setup?

What permissions are required?

Macuse requests only the permissions needed for each feature: Calendar, Reminders, Contacts access for those apps, Full Disk Access for Mail and Notes, and Accessibility for UI control. You choose what to enable.

What's the difference between Free and Lifetime?

Free includes all features with 100 tool calls per day and 1 connected client. Lifetime removes all limits for unlimited usage. Both versions are equally private and secure.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Macuse, a macOS desktop application that provides MCP (Model Context Protocol) server functionality for AI integrations ("Software"). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Usage

You may use Macuse for personal and commercial purposes, subject to the following restrictions:

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
You may not modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Software
You may not distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Software without explicit permission
You may not use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
You may not bypass or circumvent any usage limitations or licensing mechanisms

Free Tier:

100 tool calls per day (resets at midnight UTC)
1 connected AI client maximum
All features and integrations included

Lifetime License:

Unlimited tool calls
Unlimited connected AI clients
All features and integrations included
All future updates included

Client Authorization

Macuse uses secure authentication to authorize AI clients:

Each client must be explicitly authorized by you through the Macuse interface
You can revoke client access at any time
Free tier users are limited to 1 authorized client
Licensed users can authorize unlimited clients

Intellectual Property

Macuse and all related documentation, trademarks, and intellectual property are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except for the limited license to use the Software as described herein.

You retain ownership of any data you create, access, or process through the Software, including your calendar events, notes, reminders, messages, and other personal information.

macOS Integration and Permissions

By using Macuse, you acknowledge and agree that:

The Software requires various macOS permissions (Accessibility, Calendar, Reminders, Contacts, Location, Full Disk Access, Automation) to function properly
You are responsible for granting and managing these permissions through macOS System Settings
The Software accesses your local macOS data only as necessary to provide its functionality
The Software runs without App Sandbox to enable full system integration
You use the Software's integration capabilities at your own risk and discretion

Privacy

Macuse values your privacy. Our collection and use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Software, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

You acknowledge that:

The Software may have bugs, errors, or limitations
macOS system updates may affect Software functionality
AI integrations and MCP server functionality may not always work as expected
We cannot guarantee compatibility with all macOS versions or third-party applications
Third-party AI clients may behave unexpectedly

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY DAMAGES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE LICENSE.

Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate your license at any time by uninstalling the Software and ceasing all use. We may terminate your license immediately if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination:

Your right to use the Software ceases immediately
You must delete all copies of the Software in your possession
All data stored locally by the Software may be retained or deleted at your discretion
Your license key will be deactivated

Amendments
